Abstract

The aerial cable suspension clamp has two jaws. One of the jaws (1a) has a transversal tenon (4) formed on it. The other jaw (1b) has a complementary mortise (5) joint formed in it. The sides of the tenon (4) as well as the sides of the mortise (5) are not parallel, but are inclined with respect to the longitudinal access of the jaws. Each of the jaws (1a, 1b) has in its upper part a transversal hole (6). These holes coincide when the two jaws are placed together. The jaws (1a, 1b) are suspended by means of a hook (8) whose ends (9) are forced into the hole (6) in the jaws (1a, 1b). The lower part of the jaws (1a, 1b) has half circular slots (2) formed in them into which the suspension part of the cable is fitted.
