Abstract
L'invention concerne une installation de production d'eau douce par dessalement d'eau de mer fonctionnant par échauffement d'eau de mer, évaporation et saturation d'air par de l'humidité et condensation. L'installation est caractérisé principalement par le fait que l'évaporation très partielle de l'eau se fait à faible température par saturation d'air ambiant comportant déjà une certaine proportion de vapeur d'eau, la majeure partie de l'eau non évaporée et légèrement concentrée en sel étant rejeté, étant entendu que sa température est alors abaissée, du fait de l'évaporation, à une valeur n'altérant pas le rendement termique de l'opération. Application à la fourniture d'eau potable et d'eau pour l'irrigation.
