Abstract

Ecran de projection à forte courbure convexe inscrit en volume dans l'espace, permettant la projection de films cinématographiques, de diapositives ou tout autre procédé utilisant une projection frontale ou par transparence, et destiné à provoquer chez le spectateur une illusion d'optique lui permettant de percevoir une image sans déformation et de ressentir un effet de pseudo-relief. Il comprend essentiellement une surface limitée en haut et en bas par deux cercles directeurs non concentriques donnant naissance à une surface << réglée >>. Des bandelettes fixées élastiquement en haut et en bas de ces cercles permettent une mise en place parfaite et sans déformation de la surface L'invention peut être utilisée dans tous les cas de projection cinématographique ou autre. Le dispositif peut être utilisé en rétro-projection, la surface à observer étant dans ce cas la face concave de l'écran.
