Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé d'amélioration du charbon, suivant lequel on traite du charbon brut avec un composé renfermant un métal afin d'augmenter la susceptibilité magnétique d'une ou plusieurs impuretés sensibles à ce traitement par un composé renfermant du métal, ce qui permet d'éliminer ces impuretes par séparation magnétique, caractérisé par le fait que l'on soumet à un traitement préalable le charbon en le portant à une température suffisante et pendant une durée suffisante pour satisfaire à la relation suivante entre la durée et la température :
