Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un frein à disque comprenant un joint d'étanchéité disposé dans une gorge du cylindre, et un joint pare-poussières disposé extérieurement par rapport au joint d'étanchéité, ce joint étant réalisé sous la forme d'un joint annulaire disposé dans une gorge ouverte du cylindre. Selon l'invention, la gorge 11 destinée à recevoir le joint pare-poussières 9 est délimitée d'une part par une paroi intérieure présentant un alésage de diamètre égal au diamètre extérieur du piston et d'autre part par une paroi extérieure 12 présentant un alésage 13 de diamètre supérieur au diamètre extérieur du piston, face 12a de cette paroi, qui est tournée vers l'intérieur de la gorge, ayant une pente dirigée vers le piston et vers l'extérieur du cylindre, et le joint pare-poussières est de même forme que la gorge 11, sa face extérieure 9b présentant sensiblement la même pente que la face intérieure de la paroi extérieure de la gorge, le bord extérieur 9c dudit joint arrivant sensiblement au niveau de la face extérieure 12b de ladite paroi 12.
