Abstract

The precast modular and cellular building blocks (1) form three longitudinal rows of cells (A, B, C) which communicate with one another throughout the height of the wall. The outer row of cells (A) may be filled with insulating material, the central row (B) may be filled with a binding and sealing cpd., and the inner row (C) may constitute service and hot air ducts. The blocks may be laid to a stretcher bond and thus comprises a base block (1) and a half block (3). The base block (1) is parallelpiped and traversed by three rows of rectangular openings. The inner and outer rows (A, C) may each comprise three openings, and the central row (B) may comprise a single elongated opening aligned with channels (m) in the block ends.
