Abstract

The burglary alarm system (B) is triggered by interruption or closure of an electrical circuit. The system includes an alarm trigger circuit enclosed in a housing with open or closed loop electrical conductors leaving the housing. Also included in the housing is a protection circuit. This circuit protects the trigger circuit against application to one of its electrical conductors of a high voltage. This high voltage being capable of destroying the trigger circuit. The protection circuit is designed to trigger an alarm on application of the high voltage.
