Abstract

A windsurfer consists of several air chambers (8) which run in the longitudinal direction and are formed from tubular air-chamber bodies (9). The hull has an elastic outer skin (5) which in the interior is subdivided by a plurality of intermediate walls (6) into sections (7) in which the air chambers (8) are located. In the centre of the hull, a centreboard (10) can be inserted through a slot (11). When the air chambers (8) are inflated, the entire hull stiffens, and the centreboard (10) is fixed by the two adjacent air-chamber bodies (9).
