Abstract

A machine for turning trousers inside out following their sewing up in the factory, is formed by two tubes parallel to and close to each other. Inside each tube, a rod to which a guide is fixed, is able to slide freely. The rods are longer than the tubes, and have at one end a membrane whose width exceeds dia of the tube. The other end of the rods is attached to a mechanism for moving them. Suitably the membrane is formed by a strip of flexible material fixed transversely to the ends of the rods. the opposite ends of the rods may be attached to a crosshead on the piston rod of a jack cylinder, the crosshead and piston rod may be supported on a guide rail by two wheels running one on the upper and the other on the lower surface of the rail.
