Abstract
The conducting and insulating elements are designed to be mounted inside the contact holder of a lamp. The contact holder has a body (10) designed to receive and retain the lamp as well as an insulating element (12). A conducting structure is mounted inside the insulating element (12). The structure has a terminal designed to establish an electrical connection with a conducting wire so that an electric current can circulate in the structure. A contact is designed to establish an electrical connection with a lamp maintained in the body. The insulating element (12) has two blind holes (18) in it. Inside the holes (18) are fitted springs (20) and plungers (14). The element (12) has another pair of holes (22) in it which connect with slots (24). Each connector terminal element (16) is formed from a strip in which a first foot (26) and a second foot (28) are formed. The foot (26) is applied against the upper surface of the element (12) and closes the end of its associated hole (22). Each foot (26) has a hole (30) designed to receive the plunger (14). The plunger has at an end a shoulder (33) designed to make contact with the foot (26) so that the plunger cannot be disengaged from the lamp socket under the face of the spring (20).
