Abstract

Ruban de frein flexible et élastique, notamment en acier, muni d'une garniture de frein et comportant à ses extrémités des dispositifs de serrage avec lesquels viennent en prise les organes d'actionnement et de retenue. Les dispositifs de serrage 6, 7 sont en matière massive et sont fixés sur les extrémités 4, 5 du ruban de frein et les extrémités du ruban de frein 4, 5 munies des dispositifs de serrage 6, 7 présentent à l'état détendu une courbure R correspondant à la courbure R du tambour de frein. L'invention est applicable d'une manière générale aux freins à ruban.
