L'invention concerne les travaux publics. Elle concerne notamment un balancier pour engin mécanique de curage de fossés selon le brevet principal et comportant, en un point intermédiaire de sa longueur, des moyens pour son articulation à l'extrémité libre d'une flèche de l'engin mécanique, l'étanchéité supérieure étant pourvue de moyens lui permettant d'être reliée à un vérin de commande, tandis que l'extrémité inférieure comporte des moyens pour recevoir un godet basculant, ledit balancier présentant, en un point intermédiaire de sa longueur, un coude situé dans un plan passant par les articulations du balancier sur la flèche et du godet sur Le balancier, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens pour modifier la valeur de l'angle du coude. L'invention s'applique, en particulier, aux engins de travaux publics.
