Abstract
L'invention concerne des dispositifs pour absorber des efforts tels que chocs ou analogues, notamment pour pare-chocs. Ce dispositif, tel que décrit dans le brevet principal, comporte des éléments cellulaires de section notamment hexagonale, et qui ont la propriété de se déformer sur une course importante de flambage. Les présents perfectionnements visent à améliorer encore les conditions de flambage par plusieurs modifications apportées aux parois des cellules. En particulier, on peut agir sur l'épaisseur des parois en rendant certaines d'entre elles plus minces. Ou encore on peut leur faire comporter des bourrelets facilitant le flambage. Ou encore on peut prévoir, pour lesdites parois, des inclinaisons différentes 15, 16. On obtient ainsi un effet de flambage jusqu'à 60 % de l'épaisseur du dispositif dans le sens de l'effort. Applications : pare-chocs de véhicules.
