Abstract

L'invention est relative à des éléments photosensibles permettant d'obtenir des formes d'impression à relief pour transfert à sec. Un tel élément photosensible comprend, sur une base inerte, stable à la chaleur et résistant à un traitement aux liquides aqueux ou organiques, au moins trois couches minces de matiere organique, dont : a. la première, qui est la plus proche de la base, est colorée et composée essentiellement d'au moins un colorant et/ou azurant et/ou précurseur de colorant qui passe à l'état de vapeur entre 120 et 250 degrés C à pression atmosphérique et de liants stables à la chaleur dans cet intervalle de température; b. la deuxième est un film perméable aux vapeurs de ce colorant, azurant ou précurseur de colorant, stable à la chaleur, résistant à une enduction et à un dépouillement avec un liquide aqueux ou organique, et c. la troisieme recouvre la précédente et consiste en un film d'une matière photosensible synthétique qui, par exposition à des radiations actiniques, subit un changement de solubilité en milieu aqueux ou solvant organique volatil (soit qu'elle devienne insoluble si elle était soluble, soit au contraire en devenant soluble si elle était insoluble), et qui, à l'état insoluble, est dure, retient la totalité des vapeurs de colorants ou d'azurant ou de précuseur de colorant, et est stable à la chaleur. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de reproduction dans lequel on insole, en général à travers un original transparent portant le motif à reproduire, à l'aide de radiations actiniques, un élément photosensible ci-dessus, et dépouille les parties restées ou devenues solubles en présence d'eau ou d'un solvant organique volatil, -ainsi que la forme d'impression à relief obtenue et que le procédé d'impression dans lequel on chauffe cette dernière en contact avec une surface réceptrice.
