Abstract

Moteur suralimenté. Le dispositif de suralimentation comprend un compresseur 24 entraîné par une turbine 31 elle-même entraînée par les gaz d'échappement Un conduit de dérivation 34 contourne la turbine 31 pour déboucher dans le conduit d'échappement et une soupape 5 commande le débit des gaz d'échappement traversant le conduit 34 et la turbine 31. La soupape 5 est associée avec des organes de transmission de la pression des gaz d'échappement, eux-mêmes reliés à des organes de commande actionnant la soupape en fonction de ladite pression pour répartir ces gaz entre la turbine 31 et le conduit 34 lorsque la pression excède un seuil donné, de façon à limiter la vitesse de la turbine et du compresseur, ce qui, pour des vitesses élevées du moteur, provoque la réduction de la suralimentation lors d'une augmentation de la vitesse du moteur. Application à la réalisation d'un moteur délivrant un couple plus élevé à des vitesses moyennes et permettent ainsi une economie sensible de carburant.
