Abstract

L'invention concerne un métier à tisser sans navette. De part et d'autre du tissu formé s'étendent des fils de trame en saillie et le métier comporte, d'une part, un dispositif de succion permettant de maintenir tendus ou étirés par succion les fils de trame en saillie à partir des bords du tissu, suivant une direction transversale à ces bords ou lisières et, d'autre part, un dispositif découpeur qui découpe les fils en saillie ainsi tendus, le dispositif de succion étant agencé de telle sorte par rapport au dispositif découpeur que les bouts ou déchets de fils ainsi obtenus soient évacués au moyen de ce dispositif de succion. Utilisation dans le domaine du tissage.
