Abstract

L'invention décrit une combinaison à ajouter à une essence pour améliorer le fonctionnement du moteur à explosion qui l'utilise. La combinaison comprend un composé azoté, acylé, boraté et soluble dans les huiles (par exemple de l'anhydride polybutényl-succinique boraté que l'on a fait réagir avec une polyamine) et une huile dissolvante. Ajouté en une faible proportion, cet additif pour essence pour moteur à combustion interne à allumage par étincelles atténue le phénomène d'allumage spontané se produisant même après arrêt de production de l'étincelle par des bougies.
