Abstract

L'invention concerne un amplificateur à virgule flottante instantanée. Elle se caractérise en ce que le gain d'un étage de l'amplificateur à n étages (150, 151, 152, 153) est le carré du gain de l'étage qui le suit immédiatement, et en ce qu'une logique de commande 105, 106 décide si un étage donné est requis ou non pour amplifier le signal d'entrée à un niveau compris dans les limites préfixées. L'invention s'applique notamment aux explorations sismiques.
