Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux lampes à décharge à haute intensité. Une telle lampe comprend une ampoule protectrice contenant un tube à arc, un interrupteur de sécurité présentant une position normalement ouverte dans laquelle il est non conducteur et une position fermée dans laquelle il est conducteur, cet interrupteur étant connecté en série dans le circuit de la lampe et s'ouvrant en cas de bris de l'ampoule protectrice afin déteindre la lampe Ces lampes permettent d'éviter la propagation de rayons ultraviolets de courte longueur d'onde en cas de bris.
