Abstract

The machines washing liq. vessel has in addition to the usual drain, a further opening connected by a pipe to the machine drainage system. The further opening can be situated slightly above the normal level of liq. in the vessel, and it can be roughly funnel-shaped. The effect is that when the machine is running, liq. passes through the second opening, and causes other liq. in the sump to float up back into the vessel again, thus making fuller use of the liq.
