Abstract

La présente invention concerne un laser à l'état solide à pompage optique. Le laser comprend un cristal en forme de tige à l'intérieur d'une cavité optique résonnante, aligné par rapport à l'axe de celle-ci, et constitué par du fluorure d'yttrium et de lithium jouant le rôle d'hôte et contenant des ions actifs d'holmium pour produire l'émission laser, et un moyen pour alimenter ladite tige en énergie de pompage. Application aux systemes optiques de localisation d'une cible.
