Abstract

Appareil électrique de coupure à haute tension, notamment un disjoncteur, à auto-soufflage de l'arc électrique de coupure par un gaz, du type comportant un contact fixe et un contact mobile dans une enveloppe étanche en un matériau isolant formant chambre de coupure et remplie d'un gaz isolant, et une électrode annulaire fixe entourant le contact fixe et reliée à celui-ci par une bobine. Le contact mobile 11 est en forme de champignon et sa tige 11c est entourée d'une pièce isolante 12 qui coopère avec un déflecteur annulaire 10 en un matériau isolant et solidaire de l'enveloppe 1 de telle façon que la section de passage du gaz comprimé par échauffement par l'arc de coupure entre les deux pièces 10 et 12 varie en fonction du degré d'ouverture du contact mobile 11 de façon à permettre la montée progressive en pression du gaz, puis le soufflage de l'arc.
