Abstract

The overfill prevention device is intended for installation into the filling pipe of a liquid container, especially an underground tank. A double valve (16) is screwed into the casing wall of the overfill prevention device and includes an inner valve (21) and an outer valve (22). An adjusting ring (28) which has an annular inner collar (28b) is screwed into the body of the inner valve (21). The spring (24) of the inner valve (21) is supported at one end against one side of the collar (28b), and the spring (26) of the outer valve (22) is supported at one end to the other side of the collar (28b).
