Abstract

The wine container filling machine is used for delivering a measured quantity of wine to containers with a pvc skin enclosed in a cardboard box. The containers are delivered on roller tracks each side of a vertical column with a filling head (7) extending from two opposite sides. The column is connected to a control unit from which the measured quantity is delivered, fed from a pump. Each filling head has a dispensing tube (15) with delivery holes (17) around the bottom discharging sideways. This slides telescopically on a fixed inner tube (16) and carries cross arms inside which are locating balls (19) pushed by springs (20) into either upper or lower locating grooves (18) on the fixed tube.
