Abstract

The belt (3) is folded into an eye around the core piece (2) and is inserted into the slot of the end piece (1) to form a permanent end to the belt. The end piece may be coupled to a similar one by means of a hinge pin so as to form an endless belt. Similar fittings may be used to attach buckets or other accessories at equal intervals along the length of a belt. A keeper plate may be screwed into position at each end of the end piece (1) to prevent the belt coming out of the slot.
