Abstract

Cet arrête-chaîne est du type comprenant un couloir à chaîne ouvert 3 à surface de glissement 4 et rainure 5, par exemple entre un treuil d'ancrage et un manchon d'écubier, et deux pièces de verouillage, 6, 7 déplaçables entre une position de verrouillage ou de retenue d'un maillon de chaîne horizontal 1 sur la surface de glissement 4 et une position dégagée. Selon l'invention, les pièces de verrouillage 6, 7 s'appliquent en position de retenue de part et d'autre du plan de symétrie du couloir 3 contre une partie extrême courbe du maillon horizontal 1 et elles s'appuient chacune par l'extrémité opposée au maillon retenu contre un support fixe 8 ou 9.
