Abstract

The ski safety fixing device has a boot supporting plate rotating on a central pivot in a plane parallel to the ski, from which it is detachable, being held on it at the front and rear ends by locking devices fixed to the ski. One of these, pref. the rear one, has a rocking finger spring-loaded into a groove in the plate and on an axis parallel to the ski surface and extending across it, in turn accommodated in a housing slewing on an axis perpendicular to the ski surface, thus allowing the plate to disengage from the ski in any direction. The plate is permanently fixed to the boot (2) having a slot in one end for engagement by the finger (9), while the other end slopes to engage with the second locking mechanism. An opening running in the lengthwise direction of the ski is formed near the central part of the plate, to allow its fitting on a pivot (3) fixed to the ski.
