Abstract

The lower limb splint has a tibial section with a suspension point and attached by two pivots on a crucal section also with a suspension point formed by a pivoting arch on this section. The crural section is formed by a metal fitting (2) having two longitudinal members (9) with two sets of clips (3, 20) adjustable for position. One set accommodates the tibial section (1) and the other the arch (22). The clips can be so situated that the pivot pins for the tibial section are below the longitudinal members, and those for the arch above them, when in the working position.
