Abstract

In integrating scales for weighing, a force detector is used which comprises a transducer associated with tangential weighing to transform a force into angular or linear movement. An electrical detector converts movement into an electrical voltage. A force detector is mounted on a support plate (1) and comprises a jib (2) with two arms (3, 9). A mobile assembly (4) has a pendular mass (6) suspended from a cross member (5). The force (F) being measured is applied to lateral arm (7) carried by cross member. Flexible blades (11) act as springs to pretension metallic bands (12) to define precisely a horizontal plane for pivoting. The position detector comprises an electrode carried by the mass (6) in a conducting liquid.
