Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer un tapis à envers de polyuréthanne. Pour préparer un tapis à envers de polyuréthanne, A on applique un mélange réactionnel transformable en mousse de polyuréthanne à l'envers d'un tapis, directement ou par revêtement avec des rouleaux inversés, et on laisse pendant une faible durée le mélange pénétrer dans les fibres et les fixer en place, B on chauffe le tapis pendant environ 15 s à environ 10 mn à 25-120 degrés C pour que le mélange réactionnel se transforme entièrement en une mousse gélifiée non poisseuse, et C on façonne et durcit le tapis en le plaçant dans un moule chauffé où le côté uréthanne est soumis à des températures de 90 à 180 degrés C et à des pressions de 0,035 à 1,75 bar, pendant des durées de 5 s à 2 mn. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la fabrication de tapis pour automobiles.
