Abstract

L'invention a pour objet des particules de marquage électroscopiques comprenant une phase intérieure aqueuse contenant une matière colorante choisie parmi les colorants solubles dans l'eau et les pigments pouvant se disperser dans celle-ci, enveloppée d'une couche extérieure de particules de silice hydrophobe. Selon l'invention, on dissout dans l'eau un colorant soluble dans l'eau, puis on disperse éventuellement un pigment pouvant se disperser et/ou mélanger rigoureusement le système avec des particules de silice hydrophobe pour former une phase aqueuse intérieure contenant le colorant et éventuellement le pigment et simultanément une couche extérieure de particules de silice hydrophobe. Application au développement d'images électrostatiques latentes contenues sur la surface d'un élement d'enregistrement diélectrique ou photoconducteur.
