Abstract

Piston rotatif autour de son axe longitudinal sur le pied de bielle et comprenant un organe de commande qui subit un pivotement alternatif autour de cet axe longitudinal en fonction de l'oscillation de la bielle et qui comporte deux surfaces de friction dont l'une coopère avec une surface correspondante du piston et l'autre, avec une surface de forme correspondante d'un élément de serrage mobile dans la direction de l'axe à l'intérieur du piston, les forces d'inertie étant utilisées pour assurer l'embrayage entre les différentes pièces. Les deux surfaces de friction 11, 12 de l'organe de commande 10 sont coniques sur l'axe longitudinal 19 du piston et le jeu axial de l'élément de serrage 15 est plus grand que celui de cet organe 10. Application aux grands moteurs à combustion interne, à pistons alternatifs.
