Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé amélioré de préparation de polyamides thermoplastiques transparents à partir d'acide isophtalique et d'hexaméthylènediamine. On utilise pour la formation du sel avec l'hexaméthylènediamine un acide isophtalique contenant jusqu'à 1,6 % en poids d'impuretés, ce sel étant ensuite polycondensé sans être isolé ni purifié. Excellentes propriétés mécaniques, électriques, thermiques.The invention relates to an improved process for preparing transparent thermoplastic polyamides from isophthalic acid and hexamethylenediamine. Isophthalic acid containing up to 1.6% by weight of impurities is used for the formation of the salt with hexamethylenediamine, this salt then being polycondensed without being isolated or purified. Excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal properties.
