Abstract

La présente invention est relative à la photographie en couleurs. Le procédé suivant l'invention consiste à exposer suivant une image un produit photographique aux halogénures d'argent image un produit photographique aux halogénures d'argent comprenant un composé coloré libérant un colorant diffusible au cours du traitement en présence d'un développateur des halogénures d'argent, puis à traiter le produit photographique exposé par une solution basique en presence d'un amino-acide ou d'une combinaison d'un acide et d'une amine qui facilite la solubilisation et l'élimination du colorant diffusible. Application à l'obtention d'images en couleurs dont la densité minimale et la discrimination (Dmax-Dmin) sont nettement améliorées.
