Abstract

The connector has a collar (2) which fits around the fluid pipe (1). The collar has a side tapped hole to take the take off pipe (3). The take off pipe is screwed into the collar (2) to such such a depth that the pipe (1) is deformed and offers a sealed bearing surface to the take off pipe. The pipe is then drilled with a twist drill down the take off pipe (3).
