Abstract

Guide sheath for a control wire for e.g. automobile or cycle mechanisms, comprises a core sleeve of oriented polyester (RTM - Arnile) covered with a plastic sheath of pref. polyethylene, polypropylene or PVC. The plastic sheath has reduced wt. enhanced flexibility and corrosion resistance cf. conventional metal outer sheaths and, reduces the apparent brittleness of the core sleeve of polyester to facilitate trimming of the ends to length.
