Abstract

Procédé évitant les risques de dégradation et de coloration de la composition. Il consiste à mélanger un complexe de polyloxyphénylène) chlorure de méthylène obtenu par oxydation d'un phénol dans une solution chaude de chlorure de méthylène en présence d'un catalyseur complexe, extraction du catalyseur et refroidissement pour précipiter le complexe, avec un composé vinylique aromatique, à chauffer le mélange pour décomposer le complexe et pour éliminer le chlorure de méthylène, et à poursuivre le chauffage jusqu'à ce que le composé vinylique aromatique se soit au moins en partie polymérisé. Application à la fabrication de films transparents.
