Abstract

L'invention a pour objet le traitement d'argiles de la catégorie des kandites. On met en contact une suspension de l'argile avec un agent de blanchiment réducteur pendant le temps nécessaire pour apporter l'amélioration voulue de brillance à l'argile, ladite suspension aqueuse d'argile contenant aux moins 35 % en poids de matières solides et ayant un pH de plus de 5,5, la suspension contenant également un agent dispersant Enduction du papier par une argile à haute brillance et dont la production est plus économique en raison de la plus faible quantité d'eau à éliminer par chauffage.
