Abstract
Appareil pour la polymérisation en masse continue de monomeres alkenylaromatiques. Un tel appareil comporte essentiellement une enveloppe cylindrique verticale 12 définissant une chambre de réacteur 11, des moyens de refroidissement par serpentins 16 pour refroidir au moins les parties basses de la chambre, et des moyens agitateurs constitués de plusieurs disques 20 verticalement espacés le long d'un arbre d'entraînement 17 et présentant chacun des lames planes radiales 21 réparties sur la périphérie du disque et formant un angle avec le plan du disque, les lames de disques inférieur étant verticales. Application à la production de polymères alkénylaromatiques aux propriétés physiques particulières.
