Abstract

Compsn. for control of fungi comprises a fungicidal triazole of formula (I), or its salt, isomer or metal complex, plus gibberellic acid (II) or another gibberellin. In the formula R is COX, (CH(OH)X or C(R3)(OH)X. X = isopropyl, tert. butyl or phenyl opt. substd. by one or more halo. R3 = 1-4C alkyl. R1 = H, OH or 1-4C alkyl. R2 = phenyl, opt. substd. by one ore more halo, NO2 or haloalkyl). Pref. the wt. ratio (I): (I) is 50-5:1. Used for treating plants and seeds, esp. for control of powdery mildew. (I) are known as fungicides but also have plant growth regulating activity. This can be compensated for by (II). A typical compsn. contains (wt.%) 1-tert. butyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-2-p-chlorobenzylethanol 4.5; (II) 5; 'Dispersol T' (RTM) 5 and kaolin 45.
