Abstract

The mould has multiple recesses for casting several brick or cement products simultaneously. The sides of each recess (1) comprise a plate (2, 3) with a rib (5a, 5b, 6a, 6b) on each end face. The outer ribs (5b, 6b) have recesses for inflatable tubes (9) pushing the sides agains end spacers (4) for the pouring and setting phases. Each end spacer is a loose fit over the inner ribs (5a, 5b) and provided with in inflatable tube (10). This remains unpressurised when the product sets. To release, the outer tubes are deflated and that in the end spacer is inflated; this contacts a ball (1) to release the spacer from the end of the product.
