Le moteur peut tourner soit sous l'action d'un courant continu soit sous l'action d'un courant alternatif sans faire apparaître une force contre-électromotrice. Le moteur donnant un rendement exceptionnel peut remplacer tous les moteurs qui font apparaître une force contre-electromotrice.
