Abstract

Procédé et dispositif permettant de régler l'épaisseur des zones des bords d'un tissu non tissé. Selon ce procédé de la présente invention, on fait passer un tissu non tissé 61 dans une zone de compression 64, 64 A dans laquelle les zones des bords du tissu sont comprimées de façon à produire un tissu non tissé ayant une épaisseur uniforme. Application à la production d'un tissu non tissé ayant une épaisseur uniforme utilisé particulièrement dans l'industrie des matériaux de garnissage/revêtement comme dossier ou support pour de tels matériaux, l'uniformité d'épaisseur obtenue selon l'invention permettant de découper ces matériaux empilés tout en assurant une bonne définition des formes découpées.
