Abstract

The pannier for bottles of compressed gas loaded vertically, consists of a base (1) with four sides, three of which are removable. A middle partition (6) is rigidly fixed to the base and the fixed side which is covered with a soundproof elastic material. The bottles, placed in equal rows from the fixed side, are encircled by a belt (10) to prevent any relative movement, the belt being fixed at both ends (11, 12) to the fixed side and passing under a spur (13) attached to the middle partition. The belt is adjustable so that it can be drawn tightly around the bottles in the pannier.
