Abstract

L'invention concerne la modulation de l'intensité d'une source lumineuse. Un dispositif de modulation pour diode électroluminescente comporte un circuit d'accentuation 2 qui reçoit le signal d'entrée et qui applique à ce signal une amplification variable avec la fréquence, pour tenir compte de la non-linéarité introduite par la réponse thermique de la diode électroluminescente dans la région des fréquences basses. Le dispositif de démodulation comporte un circuit de désaccentuation 8 qui accomplit une action inverse, pour donner sur la sortie 10 un signal identique au signal d'entrée. Application aux télécommunications optiques.
