Abstract

L'invention concerne une mémoire opérant par bulles magnétiques, entraînées par un champ magnétique rotatif le long d'une structure d'éléments discrets qui comporte au moins deux éléments de détection de bulles formés par des chevrons réunis. Le signal de détection repose sur l'effet de magnétorésistance de la succession de chevrons. A l'occasion du passage d'une bulle dans une période du champ magnétique rotatif, il est possible d'engendrer chaque fois un signal de bulle d'intensite relativement élevée et un signal de bulle d'intensité relativement faible. Dans ce cas, il se peut que dans chaque période du champ magnétique rotatif une bulle magnétique soit présentée à l'élément de détection sans que les signaux de détection de bulles qui se succèdent directement, ne se gênent. La détection se fait en présence de la compensation des signaux parasites. La densité d'information est élevée, tandis que par élément de détection utilisé dans la mémoire, la fréquence de bits peut s'identifier à deux bits par période du champ rotatif. Application : installations radar.
