Abstract

The wear determination arrangement is for use on a clutch disc lining. A coupling carrier is located in a housing, on an engine flywheel. A marking device (8) is firmly attached to a pressure plate (6), and two successive marks extending axially and arranged one after the other in the circumferential direction of the pressure plate (6). A third mark connects the front end of the one mark to the rear end of the other. On the coupling housing (1), is a probe (9) for the marking device (8), together with an evaluation unit (10). As a result of wear causing displacement, in a time period proportionally divided to the wear, an output signal from the probe (9) is formed.
