Abstract

Each roller assembly consists of three rollers, the centre one being horizontal and the two outer ones sloping so that the belt makes a trough. The outer rollers are located in a housing which is on a core having its centre in the centre of the conveyor. The arcs allow a combined movement about the centre, and a transversal displacement of the chassis. The support for the base is made from flexible members, having their planes at right angles to te belt. With flexible members parallel to the belt axis, the support reaction is taken normal to the chassis, and the bearing movement taken accordingly.
