Abstract

L'invention concerne un générateur de faisceau de rayons X. Il comporte un carter formant blindage dans lequel est monté un tube à rayons X, avec une zone focale prédéterminée sur une surface de cible inclinée alignée radialement avec une fenêtre transparente aux rayons X dans le carter. La fenêtre a une forme qui permet de reduire l'absorption préférentielle des rayons X dans un faisceau divergent provenant de la zone focale de la cible. L'invention s'applique notamment à un générateur de rayons X pour un dispositif de tomographie par calculateur.
