Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un frein à disque comprenant un organe support, un étrier chevauchant le disque et monté coulissant sur l'organe support, et deux éléments de friction. L'un des éléments de friction est disposé dans un renfoncement de l'organe support et l'autre est porté par l'étrier. L'élément de friction reçu dans le renfoncement ancre sur deux butées formées sur le fond de celui-ci et sur une troisième butée formée sur l'un des bords du renfoncement, et l'autre élément ancre au travers de l'étrier sur la partie de l'organe support adjacente à l'autre bord du renfoncement, de sorte que les forces de freinage sont transmises à quatre parties distinctes de l'organe support. Application au freinage des véhicules automobiles.
